The router is no longer showing up in the WiFi list (as Linksys, or its previous network name). Wiring into the router gives me an IP address from my ISP (24.121.121.XXX). Attempting to do a hardware reset , but the power light never starts flashing and the router does not seem to reboot. If the Reset button is broken, or if it doesn't reset the router, you need to use another method I recently performed factory reset on one of the connected routers, the Linksys one and let's call it router #3. After the reset, router 3 SSID shows up as OPEN (no auth needed) but already has the indication of no internet (the ! sign in mobile phone and the ⚠️ in computers. The idea is great but the pre-programed 1-minute delay has been proven wrong for my Arris modem / Linksys router set up. The modem requires more time to boot up and peform a proper handshaking with ISP than that 60-second timer hard preset, after which the router starts its reboot cycle.
